Pre-Holi Skin Care

Here are some of the things that you must do before going out to the streets on Holi:

Night Balm:

The rough texture of the colours can make your skin dry and itchy, so start moisturising a little early. Apply a Turmeric Healing Night Beauty Balm on the face before going to sleep the day before.

Cleansing:

Before going for the celebrations, ensure that your face is clean and fresh. Wash your face with your regular face wash and pat-dry it with a cotton cloth.

Hydration:

Moisturisation is an important step to prevent dryness and irritation caused by the colours. So moisturise your face with turmeric healing dark spot removal cream It will keep your skin supple and dark spot-free.

Apply Face Oil:

Face oil acts as a mask between your skin and the impurities that may accumulate on your face. Apply a thin layer of Rose and Beetroot Face Oil on your face right before going out.

Lip Balm:

Don’t forget that your lips need hydration as much as your skin. So apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly on a lip balm in the morning.

Sunscreen:

The UV exposure can tan your skin and even give you sunburns. So, apply a sunscreen lotion with UVA/B protection and SPF of more than 30.

Post Holi Skin Care

We know that your skin will be tired and dirty at this point. What you want here is gentle cleansing and pampering.

Oiling:

The colours and dirt might not go away with a face wash. So, apply a thin layer of oil on the face and massage for 2-3 minutes.

Cleansing:

Take a peanut size of face wash on your palm, mix it with water and make lather for the easy dirt removal. Massage it on your face for at least 2 minutes and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Nourishing:

Once your face is free from all the colours and oil, apply a dab of moisturising day cream on your face. Gently massage for 3-5 minutes in a clockwise motion to make your face supple and glowing again.

Happy Happy Holi
